mmk_music, congratulations on getting the S series Mk3. I got really interested in the keyboard when I learned of the ease with which you can control non-NKS VST plugins. Do you think it is worth the upgrade if money is tight?

If you are asking me, I don't have an MK3 so no idea on that. I kind of feel if you have an MK2 already, there are much better things to spend money on for the small benefit it may bring but different people have a different idea on what is important. I don't feel personally it offers enough to entice $1200 aud out of me.

Hi All,

After my NKS mapping of Trash 2 I give you my take on Minimal Audio Rift where it is very handy as well to have all banks and presets saved for quick recall and browsing to find a good starting point

But sorry it is only good old original NKS for simple users like me . Enjoy !!

OO, shiny! New wavetable synth and it's free no less.

Still can't post links, but it's on bedroomproducers blog and it's by Socalabs.

Is this worth taking a look at? Seems to come with a handful of presets which might be NKS-worthy.

yeah I thought about it, I have so many wavetable synths though but if enough people want it, it should be doable

Vaporize 2 is certainly very appealing as there are lots of parameters to potentially work with plus several add on preset packs, the other called Wavetable is nice but quite basic with just 100 presets

Unfortunately Vaporize doesn’t support Apple Silicon so is a no go for me

I've made a template for the new Synplant 2

The nice thing is you can control each branch with its own knob as well as get into the DNA editor

Modwheel grows or shrinks all the branches in one go

In the NKS User Library under Sonic Charge/Synplant

You can also drag and drop samples from the KK sample browser directly into the Genopatch to generate resynthesised patches using machine learning

Expressive E's Noisy has been updated to VST3, and migrates perfectly.

I've updated the Graphics in-line with the latest official assets, while also adding the NKS2 banner for S-Kontrol MK3, as well as the higher resoultion MST_Artwork in prep for the upcoming Komplete Kontrol update.

FYI to everyone: the new Komplete Kontrol v3.0 just dropped and basically all of the issues I once had loading incompatible plugins into KK are now fixed. Time to add some new stuff to the user library!
