Some more observations on wavestate case (in Windows):

@Kymeia your template is working perfectly, with no error or warning messages, but only if i select it first, straight after i load the plugin. If i load any of the presets first, then also your template has this error message.

@Christos Adamos i noticed that, if i load kymeia's template first, then the next preset that i load is also working fine! But when i choose another preset, the error occurs again... it is really strange.

Thanks I can't replicate any of that - is this a Win issue maybe? On my Mac I can load any NKS preset one after the other with no error, and also load patches using Wavestate's own browser with no error. I do know Wavestate uses a database to store and organise samples so maybe the problem lies there?

On my MAC mini working ok so it's definitely a Windows issue

I have reconvert all the factory so now they should work properly

Change Plugin Gui size from nksf files (Opsix Native)

If you open my conversion for the Opsix native, you will notice that the gui size is "Small 90%"

This is hard coded to nksf file in the plugin chunk section (PCHK) and the name is "ScaleFactor"

So if you open a nksf file with any hex editor you will find the "ScaleFactor" and then some numbers follows

The first 3 digits is close to gui size as it appears in the Opsix plugin

The procedure to change gui size is very simple. Just use any bulk hex editor (i use Hex Editor Neo) and use the find and replace command

In my case i want to change the size from "Small" to "Extended" but the Extended size has one digit less

So i will change the scale factor from 0.8999999761581421 to 1.2999999761581421. This is closer to Extended size and have the same number of digits

Keep in mind that you must use the same number of digits for find and replace, otherwise the file will be corrupted

Of course you can use any combination of numbers for alternative gui size 

Here is the list for gui sizes in nksf files for opsix

Minimum 70

No. it's not in the list for controller assignments

But it's easy to convert the nksf files to any size (only opsix at the moment).

I will take a look for something similar in some other plugins

It can not be a Windows issue because it never happen with any other plugin, ever (as far as i know of course). So it should be a Wavestate issue, maybe a small bug.

Hi and thank you all for these NKS Files. I have added some in for the Output Plugins. Portal and Movement are working great, however I don’t have and can’t find or I’ve missed the preset files for Thermal, is there a link? Many thanks
