This is the Rhythmic Robot Audio Sahara (on sale now), it is the audio previews only. This product is all the factory samples of the Ensoniq Mirage. I owned this hardware and the Kontakt instrument from RR sounds great compared to my memory of the original. To use these, make a copy of your .nki files in the instrument folder for KK and do a batch resave on the copied .nki files to find your samples. This .previews folder goes right in the folder with the copied .nki files that have been batch resaved. You can pm me for NI resources, but I prefer mine to refer to "Mirage" instead of "Sahara" in KK and the graphics reflect that.

Here it is finally. TX16W (aka Cyclone/Typhoon) VST2 with PRE-LOADED floppies. Yes, each NKS includes the floppy disk sounds. Typhoon manual, new Cyclone UI, misc instructions included as well.
This was a big job. But it is a treasure of a vintage collection. Note, each floppy has from a few to up to 30 presets. I don't know, but can be 1000+ presets...
- Hunt down all old floppies.
- Convert from TX16W format to Typhoon OS
- Re-save as VST .fxp format
- Convert fxp to NKS and make bank names. I used Preset Magician but each file/bank had to be named manually as it did not grab the info from the fxp files (bummer).
- Make ogg. Here I also used Preset Magician so it is a hit or miss.

Nevermind. Settup was actually super easy. The sounds being in the NKS files was just throwing me off. This is super cool.

I discovered a mistake in the TX16W/Cyclone NKS config file and the NKS now has the latest revision with TAGGING.

Also, changing the Cyclone graphics is pretty easy if you want this look. The png file IS part of the download.

Hi there. This is very cool indeed, great work.
I just have a couple of questions.
1. Should the knobs on Komplete do anything when this plugin is loaded? If so, they don't for me.
2. If a preset says something like 'SD026 YE Combi-Set 3' does the word 'Combi' mean there is more than one sound in the patch? I only hear one, though it sounds like it's doubled up for stereo effect.
3. I also found some presets that say 'Sounds' in, as if there's more than one preset in the file. If so, is there a way you browse to something that contains more than one sound?

Cyclon has NO mappable parameters i KK. You can assign Midi CC to filters etc in the OS. It is described in the manual.
The manual also explains loading new external disks, edit and loop wav's, map a wav to a Voice, a Voices to a Performance, and how to change preset, etc. Some disks have 30 presets on them. Manual is in the folders you downloaded. The sampler is very fully featured.

By the way JesterMgee gave some good insight to how to control a plugin with no automatable parameters in another thread. I copied it below:

You will not be able to control a parameter in an instrument from KK if it does not offer "Host Automation", so in Kontakt if you right-click and there is no "enable host automation" option then that parameter is not able to be controlled via a DAW at all.
Some controls do offer a MIDI input to control them but may not offer Host Automation control. When the keyboard is in "NKS Mode" it only works using Host Automation, you would need to switch it to MIDI mode to use an assigned MIDI CC"

There probably is a host within host plugin with MIDI CC capability (like maybe MIDI Lab). Too complicated for me though, I just like the fun sounds. 🤔

Nope, not that easy in my case.
This plugin outside of Komplete is utterly useless, does not appear to a screen-reader so I cannot load anything other than the presets you've very kindly made available.
If it's not already in the NKS mapping, too bad basically.
Sonic Charge do not use Juice 6.1 (or higher) for their GUI's which would enable some screen-reader support, so that's that. I'll just stick to the presets you've made and hopefully one day, will get to hear something that someone else makes with what's on-offer.

Arturia MiniFreak V - MiniFreak 2.0 Bank, NKS Presets
Presets only (no previews) for the new bank MiniFreak 2.0 (included in new plugin version 2.0). For some reason i couldn't found official NKS presets for them.

I never would have noticed there were presets missing. The preset brouser is accessible with a screen reader, but I usually don't use it.

if you are talking about the Minifreak bank, then no, the presets are all there. What is missing is the NKS for this new bank (64 presets), they only have the Factory bank (257 presets).
