Here is my template for Vaporiser 2 (latest build) - it says in the build it is 'Universal' but I'm not sure if that is true and for me knob positions do not change when you change presets, but they do when you move the knobs using the Keyboard knobs which is fine for a controller template but not so much for saving presets as NKS
This is made on Apple Silicon VST3 but I'm curious to see if & how well this works on Intel Macs (maybe even try on Windows?)

3.4.0 Works "fine" for me. Probably just have to update the presets but all working fine here

I don't know why my setup seems so different then others. However, for apparently at least some intruments, my presets don't work for others and theirs don't work for me. I noticed this first for Vavra.

Ah no sorry , just updated and reopened through my initial template. It was made using the vst3 so in what your template would be technically different ? Because made with an apple silicon ?

I think so - for some reason I can’t open yours even though created with the VST3 so AS must be part of it although then they should open for me in Rosetta mode but don’t so it might be more than just that

It certainly is more and probably not rational.
though I don’t see why an NKS file that were generated on winDow’s or Mac usually is compatible throughout different OS would need you to be in Rosetta mode . AFAIK software coding is not on par with the performance/efficiency cores for DAWS but if things are really taking that turn I am happy to be still on intel lurking in future amd upgrade

Since it happens with some instruments and not others, I think it is not the cpu architecture, nks spec, or KK, but rather an issue with the plugin coding.

This is the Rhythmic Robot Audio Sahara (on sale now), it is the audio previews only. This product is all the factory samples of the Ensoniq Mirage. I owned this hardware and the Kontakt instrument from RR sounds great compared to my memory of the original. To use these, make a copy of your .nki files in the instrument folder for KK and do a batch resave on the copied .nki files to find your samples. This .previews folder goes right in the folder with the copied .nki files that have been batch resaved. You can pm me for NI resources, but I prefer mine to refer to "Mirage" instead of "Sahara" in KK and the graphics reflect that.

Here it is finally. TX16W (aka Cyclone/Typhoon) VST2 with PRE-LOADED floppies. Yes, each NKS includes the floppy disk sounds. Typhoon manual, new Cyclone UI, misc instructions included as well.
This was a big job. But it is a treasure of a vintage collection. Note, each floppy has from a few to up to 30 presets. I don't know, but can be 1000+ presets...
- Hunt down all old floppies.
- Convert from TX16W format to Typhoon OS
- Re-save as VST .fxp format
- Convert fxp to NKS and make bank names. I used Preset Magician but each file/bank had to be named manually as it did not grab the info from the fxp files (bummer).
- Make ogg. Here I also used Preset Magician so it is a hit or miss.
