What are 'Sample Instruments" that are in the Expansion packs for Maschine?

I am ordering expansion packs, and I am trying to get ones with the best features.

Are the Maschine exclusive Sample instruments in the expansions actual virtual instruments that I could play?

For instance, Global Shake states it has 75 sample instruments included.

Are these Instruments that have been sampled, or are they playable virtually?

Yes it is, 75 sampled instruments !
