Beginner, is that I need ?

Hey !

I am a beginner in creating music with DAW software (I use Logic), so I would like to understand what Kontakt or Komplete is before making a purchase. My music is more orchestral, peaceful. I'm mainly looking for nice virtual solo instruments (violins, cello, flutes, clarinets etc...) but also ensembles (string quartets, orchestras...) Does kontakt 7 offer this kind of instruments or is it mainly a sampler for creating your own instruments + some instruments like synthesizers?

Kontakt offers all sorts of instruments depending on which version of Komplete 14 that you buy and/or which additional expansion packs that you buy. Look at the COMPARE KOMPLETE 14 page to compare versions ! Konplete 14 Select is %50 off at the moment but also by present offer comes free with some N.I: hardware purchases . Komplete Select also comes with purchase of a Komplete S-Series MK3 keyboard but those are not on offer at the moment !

But it is completely FREE to try via Komplete Start ! To get a basic understanding and to try for free then get the FREE Komplete Start that ought to still include the equally FREE KONTAKT 7 PLAYER also , but if Kontakt 7 Player is not included then just download it afterwards.

All that you need is a free account on https://www.native-instruments.com then afterwards click the get the Komplete Start or same at previously linked page , and download and install Native Access and then log into that and download the software to try it !

Later this month then allegedly there will also be offers on higher tier Komplete 14 bundles !

Komplete 14 may be at it's best with Komplete keyboards but can be used with any Midi keyboard that works with your computer !

Before making any investments though then make sure that your computer is compatible with the software and meets the minimum requirements , for that please see the specifications section of the software !
