My problem (to answer the OP) is another one.
I’m interested in just a couple of instruments too. But even updating my Collectors would be a good deal.
But… I waited till now cause I’m in a sort of moral dilemma: NI behavior lately is really getting worst (not that before it was good, but…)
Things like bugs (even serious ones, see NA state) get acknowledged by them (“the team is aware”) but not addressed. Threads reporting issues with their programs older than 2 months get an initial answer (“we are aware and working on it but we don’t wan’t to give an ETA”) but then get abandoned. And users who paid for products get left with programs not working as advertised for monthS without them feeling they have to solve the situation
Upgrade paths advertised on the site (like the one for Vocal Colors for owners of Piano Colors, released just 13 days ago…or others) suddenly disappear from the site, not taking in consideration that some users may have bought a product counting on what they advertised.
Tickets opened with support not receiving any answer after 3 weeks (I said 3 weeks because it’s my direct case, but I know of people waiting from even more time). And the reason of this delay is that they are submerged by requests because of the mess they made releasing products (once again see NA) without having tested them properly (let’s admit it, WE are NI beta testers…). Which is another BIG problem…
All these behaviors by NI are clearly an indicator of 0 consideration towards their users. And my concern is that WE are allowing them to feel they can act like this by buying new things from them even if they don’t accomplish their own duties. I would really love NI users to raise up and tell them “hey, if you don’t fix what I already paid you for, I won’t give you any more money”. But it will never happen.
Therefore my moral dilemma (and why I’m still hesitating in taking advantage of the good offers we have now): is it correct to give them some more money just because I would like to have a couple of new instruments, endorsing like this their bad behavior towards consumers?

Yes, although while that is true, it of course only applies to products on offer, the Expansion "Higher Place" is not on offer. Luckily that means the voucher can be redeemed with this product fortunately.
While we are on the topic of the Summer of Sounds new Expansion "Higher Place", check this out, pretty cool, although I may prefer the sizing on the original expansions. It's a great sounding Expansion and I think it nods with it's name, at the recent improvements and future of N.I.
Can someone tell me the xtra expansions you get from Ultimate to Collectors edition? I’m mainly interest in Maschine and Massive X (I currently don’t own Massive X)
Id be interested too, the "What's included" article has been a massive help when knowing what individual licenses to sell, It's easy to check if the product is included with Komplete bundle.

You can check 2 pages for this: the most obvious is the “what’s new for me”, but be aware it contains some little errors here and there~
And then you have the comparison page
Usually what I do is a pdf of the 2 “what’s new for me” and then eliminate what’s in both (and the errors). What remains, is the difference between the 2 versions

Still not heard anything so put in a support request but it's annoying because I have already missed 2 PA sale specials now

Be ready to lose even more. Have you seen in the forum how many people having troubles after purchasing during summer of sound? If they were saying in the last 2 months they were submerged by tickets (mainly because of the NA mess), imagine now: those + all the new problems with summer of sound purchases not installing, the site making errors suggesting wrong update/upgrade paths, people buying the right path but NA saying them they don’t have the right base product, demo mode for full instruments,…
If it took them 2-3 weeks to answer a ticket before, imagine now (my own personal ticket is there still waiting after 3 weeks now…)
Sorry for you. If there is someone not deserving to wait, is you, with all the (fast) help you give to the community (not that others deserve to wait that long…)
But…Hey…if I say that NI isn’t working good and isn’t behaving correctly, I’m the negative guy with a bad attitude towards NI…

I pretty much have everything I really need so the only thing I took advantage of were discounts on Piano Colors and Vocal Colors. I'm at the stage where I'd rather have fewer libraries I know I'll use than tons of libraries I seldom think about.

I’m done purchasing anything from NI until they get their 💩 together. I don’t care if they have a 90% off sale. They are a company in decline or going through some serious issues that they are not being transparent about. That, or they just suck now. Either way, I will not support them until I see tangible improvements across the board.
They don’t even have the decency or intelligence to get out ahead of things through this forum or thru PR. “Hey guys, we realize Akai and Roland are making our development team look really slow, dumb and amateur but here is what we are doing to address it and a timeline for how long we anticipate it will take. We apologize for letting you down and appreciate your patience.”
Even if they told me it would take another year or 2 to release Maschine 3, I would feel more comfortable buying something during SOS because atleast I’d know their is a pulse of life, accountability and hope at the highest level. For now, all I see is greed and the anticipation that their user base will continue to be gullible atms in exchange for new sounds.

The Maschine Factory Library upgrade may be my next summer of sound purchase. It's a lot.

Hi All!
I'm wondering if I buy a Komplete Kontrol MIDI controller before July 6, but I don't receive it by then, will I still be eligible for the Summer of Savings deals? I mean does it go by date of purchase or by July 6?
