Open Source development library (API)
I am looking for a open source development library (API), so I can create my own developed synthesizers that can be connected to Native Instruments applications. Much like C++ development connecting to Reaktor. Like connecting components inside the Reaktor together.

Top sound quality dj mixer
I'm sure this has been covered if not beat to death, I'm trying to research the best sound quality available in a small or simple mixing board. Something capable of controlling two or more amps and mixing vinyl and or CDs. All too many of these are and sound like junk with cross channel noise, 60hz hum, cheap pots static…

Mac or Windows for Komplete 14
Hi. I was a hundred percent going to get a 16 inch MacBook Pro m1 32gb 1tb. I use FL studio and was glad to see it will be able to run it. I was getting this so i could buy and run ni komplete 14. Which looks amazing. However, I'm reading that the mac wouldn't run certain bits of komplete and that it had to run in Rosetta.…

The magical things modern computers can do.
I had fun today playing a mixture of a Rhodes blended with an FM synth Rhodes and controlling the volume of a string section with my left foot. Amazing how low the latency is, it's like gone. What a perfect time to get started, thirty years ago just having a midi sequencer was all we really had.

Native Instruments losing the plot
Native Instrument has just announced the release of Complete 14 and in the system requirements it stipulates that to run on an M1 mac needs to use Rosetta. Surely they are taking the Mickey ( could have used a stronger word ) they have spent the last few months working on a new version of it before fixing the fact that…

Brand new to the party: what laptop to get for Komplete?
Hi. Need some advice and help if you can spare the time? I recently upgraded my 8 track to FL Studio 20 Producer Edition as I used to use it in my teens recording music as and when I could. For me it's really logical and fluid, as a DAW I'm glad I'm using it as everything is second nature(it's even improved over the…

No M1 support's forced me use products from *other* music software makers
Dear Native Instruments, I have been a user of NI products for the past 10 years. I use numerous software products, purchased Komplete 9 and own a Traktor Kontrol S4 mk3, Maschine mk3 and even the recently feature-update-abandoned Maschine Jam. I've made and sold lots of music using your products. Proceeds from music sales…

About compatibility with Windows 11
Hello everyone. I have the Komplete 12 package installed on my PC and it seems that there are incompatibilities between some plug-ins with the installation of Windows 11. The question is: if I uninstall from Native Access some products, once installed the Windows 11 version I can reinstall them on the same computer without…

Permanent discount on Output engines
Hi, I just read that after the discount right now ends, output essential engines will be 53% off permanently. I wonder what sense a 50% off discount makes which is being superceded by a 53% one, but that is great news, albeit kinda mysterious ones

Where can I find a side desk piece like this?
In many recording studios (especially ones running analog consoles) I've seen this nifty little side desk/cart-like piece of furniture. Does anyone know where to find these? I'd like to put one up to the side in my recording studio. I've attached a picture, demonstrating the piece of furniture I'm referring to.

Avocet Crane Song ii Monitoring Controller - Is it worth it?
Currently, I’m reconstructing my home studio and I’m looking for a monitor controlling device. I’ve done some research about the Avocet Crane Song ii monitoring controller and while it seems very useful, has several preamps (including some analog ones), it has talkback, and it can control different sets of monitors in…

MPC Key 61
Thoughts? I'm pretty impressed with what this thing can do without a PC attached. Having used many of the on-board instruments already being able to switch this thing on and do what the Maschine+ can kind of do, but with ability to easily do splits and layers (what KK still cannot do). Possibly not for the DAW user but…

All in one VST Series
This guitar series is doing very well. Enter chords to generate the desired accompaniment guitar. I also see BASS. So can NI come up with a VST sound series that can produce guitar, piano, bass, drums, electronic sounds with one input chord? Different music styles can be produced at each stage. In this way, it can not only…

"Cross-Pollination" of Soundwide Partners products thread.
I thought it would be interesting to have a thread for the ongoing trend of products from different Soundwide partners sharing technologies and content. Today, iZotope announced its Music Production Suite 5 which for the first time includes Effects products from Soundwide Partner Brainworx. In a few days, Plugin Alliance…
