@Inside_Agitator Thanks! And what version of Kontakt 7 do you have installed? Does it still happen if you update to the latest version (7.4.0)? And also can you tell me if this box is checked, up there in one of the previous comments.

Yes, I am on 7.4 and the box is checked.
But I think it is not a Kontakt problem, because other Plug_ins will also not load.
I checked some older song (1 - 2 years) and not a single one worked. This is really bad if I sometimes want to re-work one of them, beacuse it looks like all patch informations are gone!

@Inside_Agitator This issue was specifically linked to Kontakt. Your issue seems to be different. Did you update other products at the same time? Can you check the plug-in versions loading in Studio One vs the standalone applications by clicking on the NI logo in the plug-in/app's window?

@Jeremy_NI 7.4.0 installed and that box was ticked.
However, I've just started Native Access which prompted me to update Kontakt Factory Library 2. Clicking update threw up a message that Kontakt 7 wasn't installed which it definitely was, so I guess things got into an inconsistent state somehow. I installed from NA and projects seem to open fine now.
The factory library update won't install though. I click update, it tells me it's installing and appears to complete OK, but still sits in the update list. Any ideas?

I am not sure, but i think it happend after the last Komplete Kontrol update.
I cheked the versions of KK:
Stand Alone: 2.9.4
Plug In: 2.9.0+0 (VST 2)
Is the plug In version correct? Look a little bit curious.

@Inside_Agitator That looks lika VST administration issue and could be the source of the problem, vst version must match standalone. Please check your VST paths: Plug-in Administration in PreSonus Studio One

2.9.4 everywhere. Just to confirm that since Kontakt 7 reinstalled, saved projects are now opening OK.
The only issue I have now is with the Kontakt Factory Library 2 (v1.20) update, which downloads and installs with confirmation, but still shows as an update in Native Access (v3.4.0)

Hi. I managed to resolve by deleting the folder containing the library and running repair from NA. 👍

Hi, in my case this wasn't an issue with the patch saving. Opening the DAW project opened KK with the correct patch selected in the browser, but not loading. In my case it was a problem with Kontakt, not KK and reinstalling fixed the issue.
