The sound quality in the stems function in the stems is improved,improved algorithm stems function.

Well, let's see what NI brings to the table. I am guessing somewhere in the region of Serato DJ Pro. Based on what I got from izotope RX 10 stem separation. That would be very good.

In my opinion the VirtualDJ method of separating kick and hi hat is not ideal. To me, kick and snare would make more sense. Does anyone ever solo or mute just hi hats? 🙄
The separation tends to affect the snare often anyway. If you mute hi hats, you're just left with the kick.
I think "drums" as a whole stem is preferable.

More detailed info about how Vdj manages stem files and its own stem creator.
Check it because I’m still learning about this topic and I can made some mistakes in my previous claims. Also I’m not sure if Serato manages stems exactly the same or what differences they have.

the MP4 file that Virtual DJ generates, unfortunately cannot be taken over to Traktor...
but you can load the VDJ mp4 into Audacity and save out the 4 stems as *.wav files
but that is a lot of fart arsing around when dealing with Stems

I know but in previous comments we were discussing about quality of each solution and how each app manage internally these stem (the isolated) files vs the master file (I called it “+1”) so detailed info could bring some light for those researching in the topic (including myself)
