MK3 Maschine - Can You Use it Without a Serial?

Hello.

I am working with NI on an issue with the Serial # on my MK3.

Can you use it with Controller Editor ... with Maschine 2?

I have Contoller Editor open, I selected Maschine Controller MK3, but, when I fire up the MK3, I get this and nothing else.

    NI provided me the go ahead to use the serial number. After I installed Maschine 2, it fired up fine.
