    Has anyone tested the new version??? Anyone who can confirm it’s less buggy? Or any additional bugs that appeared?

    Yep! It's fixed :-)

    Rebooted, shutdown again, rebooted, everything seems back to normal again.

    Only a brief test and all seems good so far.

    Such a small thing has made a big difference to me, being able to start and shutdown quickly was one of it's big attractions as I like to be able to squeeze sessions into the rare free time I have some days when the kids aren't around.

    Grateful to have this before my Christmas break, thanks @Jeremy_NI for letting us know!

    Yes it works and after a 2nd reboot the question regarding restoring of a project has disappeared, too. 🤩

    Thanks so much you solved it. Just ordered my 2nd M+ shortly before 1.4.4 came out, almost got crazy what was wrong with my 1st one after the update. 2nd device arrived, updated it aswell and it had the same bug! :O Found this thread, hoped for a christmas gift and there it is. 🎁 <3

    I can confirm both problems have been fixed :

    - Restart does not warn about an unsaved project anymore

    - Last loaded project appears in the File menu recent projects again
