Kontrol S49 MK3 - where can I download Device Driver S49 MK3 DFU?

Hi there, I been trying to track down the issue of my S49 Keyboard not communicating with my Windows laptop. I want to reinstall the Driver 'KONTROL S49 MK3 DFU' but cannot find it on my Computer or from NI Downloads.
Can anyone tell me where to locate it?
many thanks

Hello,
have you tried to reinstall the "native hardware service" or something like that, within native access. Have you installed the latest komplete kontrol software and updated the firmware?

Hi, yes I've re-installed Hardware Connection Service / Komplete Kontrol - up to date Firmware/Windows - disabled Antivirus - tried new USB-C cables - connecting powered Hubs - separate USB-C power leads and USB-A Connector Ports. No change so far.
The Keyboard is locked on the ADD SERIAL NUMBER screen as its not seen by Komplete Kontrol.
I found a thread with a link to the Driver - when I try to update it in Device Manger_Other Devices its says the Driver is up to date - yet it is Grey out/Not Connected.
It is recognised under the SOUND,VIDEO,CONTROLLER Devices and operated as a purely MIDI input keyboard. Just no link to Komplete Kontrol / DAW etc..
Very frustrating as it was working fine last time I used it - with no changes to software (maybe Windows updates?)

Wow it has worked and now it says "add serial number", if I remember correctly that's only shown before you update the firmware after you bought it, so that part is very strange. You now should at least see the midi mode if you power it and the computer does not "see" it. Have you tried to check the firmware with the updater maybe you missed an update. Found this btw.:

Thanks for your reply. The fact that it's showing the Serial Number page is my fault as I found a RESET option via the S49 Midi Settings button. Got desperate.
Good point though - I'm now re-installing Hardware Connection Service again..

I found a thread with a link to the Driver
That is most likely an outdated thread. At this point in time then, as already suggested by Uwe303, you should try solving the 'DFU' problem by completely uninstalling and removing Hardware Connection Service and keyboard drivers and then run the NI reg tool and remove HCS if there , then reboot computer and then try re-installing the HCS.
Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS
Also then if using e.g. an USB-C to USB-A adapter then be sure to also use an USB-C power supply attached at the keyboard power port as well !
.
If you already tried the above and tried different hubs and cables then you need to contact N.I. Support (all) and have them help you.
In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care
P.S. please notice that Support tends to work 'procedural' so Support might ask you to do or check things that you have already done , please work with them.
