Kontakt 8 no longer loading after latest update

K-8 was working albeit slowly, until latest update. Now it no longer loads. When I looked into spec it NOW requires a 3D graphic card, mines not. Can I download an earlier version? One that will work? Otherwise I have to buy a new video card thats at least $400. MY current V card has 4Gb dual fans but NO 3D.

I purchased Ult 15 mainly for Kontakt 8 and a month later it unloadable.😠

    Hey there, can you give us some details? What version were you using before when it worked? In this article you should find the requirements for the graphic card: Kontakt Opens with a Black Window

    What graphic card model are you using? Are you certain it doesn't have the required specs?

    What actually happens when you try to open Kontakt?

    Hi Jeremy was using K8 Player until upgrade to Ult 15, Then the version that was installed when I purchased Ult 15 on June 7/25 worked. It went thru a couple of updates until the one That just became available within the last week. How can I install a previous version? Even native Access can't open

    K5, K6, K7 all work fine

    Nothing happens when I try to load K8 now. Task Manager - K8 shows up briefly then disappears.

    Sounds as a dual desktop/monitor issue to me..

    @WilliF Please try the following for Kontakt 8: Kontakt Crashes

    If that still does not work, what are the settings for your Ultra Wide screens? What's the refresh rate?
