Maschine 3 crashing during live gigs?

Hey gang, how reliable are you finding Maschine 3? I just upgraded from 2, and to my dismay it completely crapped the bed about 15 minutes into a live set. Fortunately I wasn't alone so we were able to recover. It then continued to run for the next 3 hours. Later, back in the studio, I tested some tracks and again it completely shut down about 15-20 minutes in.

Are you using maschine 3 with maschine mk3 reliably in live situations? I'm running a mint Mac M3 Pro Max with 48Gb, high-speed external SSD, all NI hardware and all NI VIs etc.

I've started a support ticket but my hopes aren't high given my latest support interactions.

Any similar experiences? Any solutions? Is Maschine V3 less reliable than V2?

i have not used maschine 3 much…. but my experience with maschine 2.x has been very stable when im using it in a DAW context whilst running x2 instances as a plugin, and running Dj software sidebyside..

one need only monitor the forums to notice the minor bugs being reported for maschine3.x
edit: i should also mention im using the standard m1 mac mini 16gb…

and when you consider i could run x4 instances of maschine 2.x.. with 256 looped samples sitting in memory in a reaper template on a 8gb m1 mac mini with the memory pressure hitting the orange area… and still remaining running without much issue… it is clearly not a case of stability issues with maschine 2.x

I've had unexplained crashes with Maschine 3 as well. Using a M4 mac mini. I have downgraded to Maschine 2 and the issues disappeared.

My biggest wish is that Maschine+ standalone will not become as unstable as Maschine 3 desktop. Took NI 4 years for M+ to get good, please dont throw that stability along with the bathwater..
