Will I receive Komplete Select if I buy a used A25 from someone on Facebook marketplace?

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy an A25 from someone on Facebook marketplace. However, when I inquired about them transferring their Komplete Select license to me, they mentioned it shows up as non transferrable.

Since they can't transfer it, does this mean that even if I buy the keyboard from them and register it under my name that I won't get Komplete Select? Essentially, will I have to buy Komplete Select?

If the keyboard originally came with Komplete Select then you ought to get your own copy from N.I. once the hardware serial has been registered by you (Seller makes a hardware transfer ID that they give to you to use).

It is correct that the Komplete Select for hardware can not be transferred once on account see link below here. Also please notice that as of Komplete 15 Select then because the Komplete 15 Select comes in three flavors then the Select bundle is not automatically registered to your account , but instead you get a voucher to go pick your own choice of Select for zero $.

Thanks @PoorFellow! I'll coordinate with the seller to get the hardware transfer ID once we agree on the sale.
