Hi

Wondering if there's a possibility to enhance Traktor Database and related objects as it takes forever to close. Yes, i know i have a huge library but still, not even half of everything I own (currently 56084 songs). Windows 11 Pro computer with 64Gb of RAM and all SSD drives + Gigabit SAN access. Opening is fine, playing songs too but it takes between 15 and 20 minutes when i close Traktor…. isssh.
Always up to date as for windows, drivers and Traktor too (v. 4.2.0 actually)

Are the tracks on the San?

Known issue (I reported it here in the forums, but, as usual, no one cares to fix bugs) if there are external hard drives connected. I suppose the same goes for SAN. So, try disconnecting from the SAN before closing Traktor next time.

Yes, tracks are on SAN (RAID5) and volume is excluded from Real Time Protection.
"Write all tags" is a selected option in Tracktor, so disconnecting the SAN before closing will prevent tag from being written to modified clips.

In this case, I don't know what else you could do.

By the way, Traktor's behavior is the same, even if you don't write any tags on the files.
