Komplete Kontrol 3.3.3 still slow laggy unusable in Ableton 12

Hi, I tried the upgrade after previously downgrading to 2.9.6, now trying 3.3.3 doesn't seem anything is better so had to downgrade again.

It's like looking for presets through butter, really laggy and slow to respond. I can tweak buffer settings. Make an ableton project with just a komplete kontrol and it's still the same. The standalone Komplete Kontrol app was slow as well so not even an ableton issue I don't think. This is browsing presets but just as annoying when i'd try to record knob twiddles this also lagged and unusable.

I have a good spec Mac Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020 3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB Sonoma 14.4
using a Komplete Kontrol MK2 S61 a Maschine Mk3 and Komplete Audio 6 mk2 interface with full Komplete package

    Can you describe what is lagging exactly? It's slow to go through presets? Or to hear the pre-hear sample?

    Hi, Slow to run through presets. Then when using knobs for automation recording some thing a delay and like low frame rate almost, stuttering as recording.

    They didn't have full ****** access, i'll try that, but would that be something different vs 2.9.6? That version is working perfect since downgrading

    @Double Triangle Is this happening also with non Kontakt presets (for example Massive or Massive X presets)?

    What version of Kontakt is installed on your system?

    How many presets do you have?

    Hi, i'll keep an eye on that thread. it does seem same as what's been reported there, sluggish and much worse than V2. to me it seems sluggish on all presets couldn't say specific ones are better or worse. Or at least they're all less responsive than 2.9.6. I could scroll through with arrow keys at lightning speed. I don't want to have to install 3.3.3 and then install 2.9.6 again, been in a good creative flow last few days so don't want to mess that for now! Can't see a counter for amount of presets on 2.9.6

    but I have full Komplete 14, Full Arturia, Diva, then in my user area I have Full Korg, Roland Cloud, Omnisphere, Synlenth, Serum. I vaguely remember it being 15,000 from when I had 3.3.3 installed yesterday.

    Everything is up to date installed other than the Komplete Kontrol, so Kontakt very latest update same as Machine etc…

    I have over 35k presets and it was fine in version 2, now its slow

    It's not preset count related at all, tho I have not seen this issue it was reported when the new V3 released that browsing (scrolling presets) was much slower than previous V2 version which even on my system with 900,000+ NKS files is still lightning fast. Seels the issue affects some people more than others but it is still far slower in general.

    Ha, if you want bug fixes, this is the wrong company to invest your hopes in… 6 months, still waiting 6+ years for some reported issues…

    The current version of Komplete Kontrol for MK3 support is now 3.4.1, so if anybody is still on 3.3.3, they need to understand that they are on an older version which is (ahem) "less".

    I suggest that new posts here state the version of Komplete Kontrol first. And it should be 3.4.1 or better, otherwise it'll be hard to help you.

    The issue remains with 3.4.1 though, browsing with the QWERTY arrows is extremely laggy, so much so that if I hold an arrow down, the browser jumps and freezes while I can hear previews continuing to load in the background. For me scrolling using the MKIII keyboard on the other hand is very smooth and previews load instantly so it is not about previews, or the host, or even number of presets, it is scrolling speed when not using a MkIII keyboard.
