S2 mk1 not connecting: Traktor 3, Windows 10

I recently replaced my broken S2 mk2 with an S2 mk1 (in perfect condition)

I removed all previous controllers from Controller Manager and added the S2 mk1 with default settings

I tried different USB cables

The USB light on the mk1 lights up but nothing I do on the controller does anything in the Traktor software

Help?

Quick update on behalf of the OP: The issue was resolved by switching to a different audio device.

I'm having the same issue and nothing works, driver, reinstall, remove device and windows re-install. The device is recognised but no controls work on the S2 Mk1. Can anyone from support help.
