The path to the json file they show you is wrong.
Look here instead, and the issue will be solved.
"/Users/Shared/Native Instruments/installed_products/{product}.json"1 -
This did it!! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated.

this is great…however and i hate to be that person. Where is the delete everything button? Hopefully in the future. I only bring that up because based on various issues people seem to have it seems much easier to just completely remove everything and start off with fresh installs. I am currently using IObit uninstaller waiting to uninstall 115 items. for whatever reason I have samples missing and instruments not functioning properly through VST function. I've gone through all of the library locations and rescanned for everything. Reinstalled stuff through native access and tried using the maintenance tab for library and product finding. this software has been the biggest pain in my ass lately….by software I mean the entire collection of Native Instruments

But following the uninstall instructions to a T (except for the .json file which directs to the completely wrong volume) results in the product being in repair state, even after restarting.
How do we remove it from repair state other than repairing/reinstalling it?
Also, if ya'll could point the uninstallation instructions to the correct locations that'd be pretty not bad.0 -
Ah, thanks. I though I had everything deleted.
Turns out there are TWO .json files to delete. Neither of which are where NI says they are lol.
The other being /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/product name/product name.json0 -
I really need this uninstall feature. After upgrading my bundle from a couple of versions back and installing the new plugins, I still have the old ones taking a lot of space in my computer. Having 3 versions of Guitar Rig, Kontakt, 2 Massive's versions, and others. I tried the per folder instructions, but it did not work correctly. Was getting installation errors in Native Access for the ones I was trying to delete, and my OCD drives me crazy when I see things like that, had to reinstall them 😂. An uninstaller for macOS that uninstalls everything from and app or plugin would be a Massive help.

Agree it is embarassing. In many areas NI is not a working software company.
Arturia and many others have software managers with uninstall buttons for plugins.
NI are stretched to thin and the ownership is not hiring enough people.
Trying to be positive but at the same time I am also planning an exit strategy and buying more from Spitfire and other non Kontakt sample libraries, more synths from Arturia - expect it to get worse at NI and expect us to see more competing sample players with better UX soon too (then I am likely never upgrading another Komplete bundle or Komplete keyboard again).

MacOS 15
Native Access 3.17.0
I have Kontakt 7 (most recent update is installed), but I accidentally installed Kontakt 6 Player (I guess?). I have followed the instructions on how to uninstall Kontakt 6 Player three times now. I have carefully and methodically deleted all the files recommended by Native instruments Support article (also available as instructions within Native Access). I have also performed a system search for all Kontakt 6 files on my Mac, and there are none. However, Kontakt 6 Player continues to show up as something that needs to be repaired under the Updates section. How do I let Native Access know that this has been removed from my system and it should not listed as an installed but broken product?
There is a file called:
Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/Native Instruments/installed_products/Kontakt Application.json
that I am not sure needs to be deleted. I don't know if this file pertains to the Kontakt 7 stand alone application or if it is a Kontakt 6 file?

I updated to komplete 15 so I have to uninstall some of my products, for example guitar 5, I followed the native access guide to the letter but now the error comes out with the word repair, even restarting the mac does not disappear!
is there no remedy?
I repaired and tried to uninstall the app with a utility but nothing, native access always gives the same error :\ is there no way to make it understand that I want to remove the old version?0 -
@oobe79 Kontakt 6 was simply named Kontakt in Native Access, so that file likely belongs to it and needs to be removed. (Or, just rename it if in doubt). You could open it via a text editor and see what it says.

Native Access needs alot of work and quite frankly it also needs a full uninstaller and also if you have had a subscription and now do not have one it does not show before installation that it will be a trial or demo version the only time it does show it when it is already installed and you have to install it to see if it is please guys put some more owrk on this acces app
