Any chance the Kontrol X1 MK1 will be M1 in the future or should I just throw it away?

    Your Midi trick works great! I just bought a 10 year old X1 and it works perfect :)

    I installed libusb with homebrew, downloaded your X1Mk1-usb2midi.zip, totally loved your icon, loaded the DecksAB.tsi into Traktor and it works flawlessly.

    Tested perfectly on:

    MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 chip

    Mac OS Sonoma 14.3

    Traktor Pro 3.11.1

    Traktor Kontrole X1 mk1

    @Opa brought an x1 that was EOL back to life. 👌Makes me wonder if something similar could be done with a NI audio 8? Surely there has to be a way with that if it can be done with an x1. Curious to know. Where the brain guru's on this. 🤣

    My M1 Mac with Sonoma 14 doesn't Recognise it :(

    It worked for me too, M1 Pro Ventura 13.1

    Only thing I have to find out now, is how to import my playlists from Traktor Pro 2 :-)

    @Moritz Do you mean with the x1-mk12usb tool or without ?

    @El-Ekim @ianholdendc @cocodrillo3000 @dariodelima I'm glad it worked for you as well, I've added a "Known issues" section on the main page of the project as you probably noticed if you tried to do your own mapping that the "<| BEAT" / "BEAT |>" buttons can only act as "Hold buttons". This is a current limitation that I'll try to address in further updates.

    If you have any feedback, please feel free to post them on GitHub :)

    @dariodelima Well, everything is possible, but Audio 8 being a sound card, the complexity and the amount of work/research to be done is not as simple that the tool I made for the X1Mk1. Also I do not have an Audio 8 to begin with 😅

    Thanks, allot. I left my Mac in low security mode for testing and it didn't work but booted normally and it works perfectly now thanks!

    Just some feed back on this!! I have this running on my 2017 home office I Mac running OSX 13 Ventura. Everything so far seems to be good. Had a bit of a head scratcher initially as I was trying to get it working with Big Sur on my MBP…Not happening. Figures crossed my old 12 year old Audio 8 works too once I upgrade the MBP to Ventura 🤞

    Oh and I’m happy to buy the guy that made this happen a coffe or beer as I was literally on the brink of launching the old MK1 for a Mk2 or 3 😁

    Hi @Opa, dowloaded your X1MK1 usb2midi patch and your DeckAB.tsi basic mapping to use my 2 freshly bought X1MK1 with my 2020 Intel i7 Sonoma Mac.

    There is progress from where I started, the X1s lit up now and seem ready to play however I can't seem to be able to control my decks with them. Trough is I'm also brand new to Traktor and that probably doesn't help.

    I'm thinking it's a Traktor configuration issue on my part, I try to follow your instructions as best I can, but am a little confused with "in-port" "out-port" set up. I do find the controllers serial numbers in my menu bar but where in Traktor do you adjust the "in-port" "out-port" values.

    Sorry for the nub question it's a lot to wrap my head around all at once….

    @lord-carlos and @Opa thank you, I figured it out, I had imported the wrong vs of DeckAB.tsi the updated one worked just fine. So I can say that your X1MK1 fix worked for me too.
