Not supported does not mean not working- it just means they are playing it safe and doing more tests

Do you think that the format of the disk could be the reason? Extended journaled working for K and K5 and not K7? I can manage to switch to APFS but with no guarantee that it will work for K7?

So are you looking in the factory view now?

Just in your first screenshot the factory library toggle looked like you might be looking in the user library but it's not clear because these stupid NI icons rely on subtle shades of grey to let you know if you are in factory or user

I have also been using K7 with Sonoma for quite some time now and have had very few issues. Komplete Kontrol (in any DAW) is another story but that’s only with specific NKS compatible 3rd party plugins and the “Perform” section midi CC mapping. There are quite a few that will crash when a parameter is touched.

Regardless if it fixes this particular issue or not, for modern Macs your SSD's should always be APFS, it's the superior current format.

Acquiring a lot of skills these days!!!!

I am actually switching to APFS and will know this morning if it solves the K7 issue….

Unless one is still using rusty HDDs, it should be APFS (for all SSDs), as D-One said.

I use a Mac Mini with Sonoma and a S61 NI Keyboard.... when will there be a Sonoma update? Waiting for more than 2 months now...

Not supported doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. I had some issues last week but sorted it out and I am on the last version on Sonoma. Did you check your installation? The paths of your different banks?

you can try to reinstall something.

To make it work, I went into the library, applications/support, NI and I erase the file that did not work. Simple as that.

are you on an external device?

Works here too. Sonoma 14.2.1 and Kontakt 7.7.3

though I'm nervous to update to 14.3 as it may break something.

NI's statement on Sonoma compatibility dates from nov. 23rd... Any news yet on full compativility ?

.x updates dont ussually break anything, it's the major updates that are the problem.

I am on 14.3 but it's a new computer and I am still setting up, so i can't really confirm anything yet.
