There is a new issue with Komplete Kontrol with Logic Pro (only Logic Pro, other DAWs like DP, or Cubase pro are working fine)

Komplete Kontrol don't play audio. Only short noises like a cut off of the notes. Also at the preview sounds. The player shows zero voices.

Komplete Kontrol as plugin now completely useless...

Stand alone Komplete Kontrol is working fine...

Cheers

I'm closing this thread as the title is way too generic and everyone with any kind of problem with Komplete Kontrol jumps in here. If you have an issue with Komplete Kontrol, please look for existing threads with the same kind of issue you are having, if you don't find any, then please make a new post and try to be specific in the title and give as many details as possible in the description. My problem too...previews (not in record mode) are sometimes fully audible and sustained but often clipped, but as soon as I begin recording, the sound disappears or nearly so.

    Is there a solution?

Just to clarify, I'm using Logic Pro 10.7.6, Komplete Kontrol 2.8.1, MacOS Monterey 12.6.2 and an KK S88.

Are there any solutions? Is this NI issue or Logic’s?

Maybe you should try open both Logic Pro and Komplete Kontrol with Rosetta.

That shouldn't be necessary now - at least not for NI products as they are now all Apple Silicon compatible. Some plugins are still not working except in Rosetta but a lot more are now.

I am having the exact same problem. When I try to play any instrument in Komplete Kontrol using my S49 controller notes do not sustain at all. Only short jabs and then silence. I am using KK v2.9.2 and Logic Pro X 10.7.7 and Mac OSX 13.3.1

Basically KK is totally useless now except as a stand alone app. What has NI said about about this? It's unacceptable that they've not responded to an issue over 3 months old.

    Hi Jmve

Yesterday I had a remote session with somone from the NI support team. He connected to my mac and he checked what is the problem. They will try to solve it as soon as possible hopefully. But they couldn’t say a certain time. So we have to wait.

But i recommend that go to NI support page and create a support request if you did not yet.

Same problem with Audio in kk chopped off, noisy…cannot sustain, and this happen when I have an Audio file, with the instrument and the recording button is on… When I undo the recording button it goes back to normal, playing like the stand alone version of KK..

I suspect maybe some clock problems or maybe with the Aggregate outputs in AudioMidi, I run Motu 1248 AVB and when I jump back to just the 1248, in Logic, the problem seems to disappear, sometimes…

Very frustrating, I will keep searching….

Verify that the audio settings in Logic Pro X are configured correctly. Ensure that the audio output is set to the appropriate device and that the sample rate and buffer size are properly configured.

Same problems as above. Using Logic Pro 10.7.8 on a MacBook Pro M1 Max, Ventura 13.4, Komplete Kontrol S Series MK2 keyboard. NI sample library is (and has always been) on an external drive. Until this is resolved KK and my KK S88 MK2 keyboard are unusable as a Logic Pro integration.
