How does Retro Machines' FX sliders work?
Hey, hoping someone can help me with this.
I really like the sound of the verb / echo out of Retro Machines MK2, however I can't quite understand how the effect send slider scripting is working? I understand that each effect has a mod, controlled by a MIDI channel, so when a note is pressed the FX level decreases, 'ducking' the FX send.
I thought this was because they'd linked the sliders to mod intensity using $ENGINE_PAR_EXTMOD_INTENSITY, however this doesn't seem to be the case, the mod intensity slider stays the same.
Basically - would someone mind explaining how the scripting has been done in retro machines MK2 to automate the send FX to the relevant sliders? And was this done to make them linear? (Which automating mod intensity would not do).
Thank you!
