Hello,

I recently purchased a second-hand Traktor Kontrol S4 MK2. When I tried to register the hardware serial number in Native Access, I received a message that the serial is already registered to another user.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any way to contact the previous owner for a license transfer.

Attached is a clear photo of the unit showing the hardware serial number.

Could you please assist me in transferring the ownership or let me know how I can proceed?

Hi @ben biton ,

welcome to the community. 

Normal way of obtaining your software licence if you buying used NI hardware would be getting a license transfer ID from the previous owner. 

As you wrote that this is impossible, there are two alternatives:

1.) You buy a new license for Traktor Pro 4. Your S2 may came with Traktor Pro 2 or 3 and you want or need to upgrade anyway. Current Macs don't support Traktor Pro 2 anymore and you cannot buy Traktor Pro 3 by now. 

2.) You contact support. Go to Native Instruments site → Navigate to Support → Purchase & Account → Account Support → (scroll down) Log in to contact Support → Use the chat in the bottom right corner. Most likely you will need a proof of purchase and a picture of the serial on your device in this process.
