You have to look into the djm manual, normally you find a dvs setup example, where the TT are routed to traktor (that seems to work) and the audio of traktor get routed back to the corresponding channels via USB too. So on the mixer channels you set USB as input, and within traktor you set external mixing mode - but like I said please have a look into the manual for all the details e.g. driver settings. The djm has a audio setup where you have to set phono from mixer to USB and USB audio from traktor to the mixer channels. Unfortunately I can't find an example right now for this pioneer djm setup.

I’ve done that and I can play and pause the song but I can’t hear it? It’s just a high pitch whizzing sound so presuming that’s what the traktor timecode vinyl sounds like?

DJM is set to USB on those channels?

Have you looked I to the manual I have linked here, it's directly from pioneer, it's just for traktor 3 but it's all the same except for the wizard. You definitely need to set the pioneer settings right in that tool and the inputs to USB.
