My Kontrol s49 Mk3 doesn't react

I says "Get the latest update" Download the update at ni.de/kontrol-update

I have updated several times, and it still doesn´t react to anything on the controller, no matter which button I press. I don't know where to address the issue.

I have deleted everything on my computer manually and have re-installed everything - but still it´s the same.

The keyboard needs for you to start the Komplete Kontrol app or the Kontakt 7/8 app for you to use it other than in pure midi mode. Also you need to setup both of these apps in standalone version (midi and audio). Also I would suggest that you set the keyboard to Midi 1.0 unless that you have a specific reason not to.

In Native Access have you installed the Hardware Connection Service? That's required for the MK3 keyboards.

The keyboard works in Logic with Kontakt player. But alle the cool features / buttons doesn't work. Nothing appears on the screen of the keyboard.

The only buttons working are Octave, Play(restart), Record(Count-in) and Stop.

The Play assist, Settings midi, Browser, Plug-in, Daw buttons doen´t react at all.

Looks like the keyboard doesn't work as standalone right now…

Hi

yes i have installed Hardware Connection service. And restarted the computer. Can it be my logic DAW setup that messes up something?

It sounds like you may not have the keyboard configured correctly to work with the DAW, but if it is you need to load a Kontakt instance into into one of your tracks and select that Kontakt instance and load an instrument into it to enable the other functions. Right now it's just enabling the DAW functionality but not the virtual instrument functionality. Once a track that has Kontakt assigned to it is selected the other functions become available and you can load or operate that functionality from the keyboard. If you select another track that has Kontakt and a different instrument the display changes to work on that instrument assigned to that track.
