Wind controller (EWI): experiences to share and advice for all of us users?

Good morning (or good night, who knows?) everyone,
I've had an Akai EWI Solo for a couple of weeks and I still have to "experiment" with how it works with some libraries and instruments present in Kontakt 8 (in addition obviously to the synthesizers from the Komplete 15 Collector's package).
Do any of you use EWI style controllers with the software mentioned above or in any case software and libraries from other manufacturers?
I'd like to know your opinions on what you use and especially advice and suggestions for settings, MIDI control assignments and so on.
I'm also experimenting with the AudioModelling libraries as a trial and wow... these really seem plug&play, in fact you can also recall direct settings for the most popular wind controllers.
I can be more "expressive" and "intimate" in certain situations with the wind controller, especially with pads and wind instruments of course.
