Why doesn't my Traktor Kontrol S3 play on the monitor speakers?

My monitor speakers give no sound. What setting should I have to make the sound from my S3 come through the monitor speakers instead of my laptop.

    Check the audio section of the Traktor preferences and make sure that the S3 is set as the output device. It sounds like you have the laptop speakers set rather than the S3.
