Installing K13 Ultimate: USB VS C drive

Hi just purchased kontakt s 61 and with the keyboard I was able to down load komplete 13 select I have downloaded komplete access and have also purchased kontakt 13 ultimate  

Please could you tell me what I needs to be first installed on my (C drive) and then weather I can use an external 2TB USB drive  to install plugins and other content

So what needs to go on C drive and what can go on USB drive I have not installed kontakt 13 ultimate yet however have just purchased a Samsung ssd 2TB USB drive and was hoping this is the best way forward

I have look through tons of videos but not yet found the answer

Using the directory locations in Native Access, steer your libraries to the external drive (all the BIG stuff like samples, etc. will go there).

The installers will still put the instruments (which are fairly small files) onto your C: drive like Kontakt, Komplete Kontrol, Reaktor, FM8 etc.

Takes up about 4Gb on C: drive, and up to 500Gb (depending on what all you install) on your external.
