George Duke Soul Treasures - 2 Questions
I just purchased George Duke Soul Treasures and had a couple of questions.
1) George Duke Soul Treasures appears to be a samples library. It is not clear to me if permission to use the samples in commercial releases is granted by purchase of the product. Or, is it necessary to request permission for use of a sample if one were to desire to use the sample in a commercial release. Please clarify the use arrangement.
2) So far, I’ve been using George Duke Soul Treasures in my DAW. One of the things I wanted to do by purchasing George Duke Soul Treasures was to be able to see the actual chords he used in each sample. I’ve performed Midi drags from George Duke Soul Treasures to my DAW and when I attempt to open up each midi segment in the DAW it just shows the single notes as shown on the Kontakt keyboard and not the actual chords being played. Is there a way of displaying the chords being used in George Duke Soul Treasures? If so, how can that be done.

For question 1, here is an extract from our EULA:
The provided samples, instruments and presets can be used for commercial or non-commercial music and audio productions without the prior permission from Native Instruments under the terms of this Sound License Agreement. The usage of this Product (in particular samples, instruments and presets) for the creation of a sound library or as a sound library for any kind of synthesizer, virtual instrument, sample library, sample-based product or other musical instrument is strictly prohibited. Individual samples, sound sets or audio loops may not be distributed (commercially or otherwise) standalone. Furthermore these samples, sound sets or audio may not be repackaged in whole or in part as audio samples, sound libraries or sound effects.
For question 2:
Unfortunately there is no way to display or find the chords that were played when these were recorded.
