Maschine 3 freezing?

Current hardware- Maschine MK3, Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2

Maschine 3 version 3.0.0

Hey guys, when loading my existing projects I have been experiencing a weird issue that I never had with Maschine 2. The project plays fine but as soon as I either switch groups, view, or between Project - Group - Sound, it freezes the window. When this happens I can still click on the different groups and I know it is registering this click because the group changes on my S61. I have tried various things such as deleting the Maschine 3 folder in the Registry Editor and the Maschine 3 folder in AppData but it is still not working with my existing projects. However if I load a blank Maschine 3 project and load up one of the preset projects made by Native Instruments they work fine and there are no issues with switching groups or views. Not sure what to try next so any help would be appreciated. I have made a support request but had no reply from anyone apart from the bot transcript.
