Process of buying this new

I bought a new Maschine mk3 two days ago from a retailer near me.

I still can’t use it and want to understand this process a bit better.

From what I gather from here this is a normal and expected result because “NI made a mistake with their SN tracking process.”

It looks like 4-7 days based on the post dates that I have read on here?

Do I have the option to buy the software and get refunded whenever you get around to my ticket?

Maybe an FAQ for any other people like me who are confused by this.
