Product retirement: warnings about product eol

Im having a major cleanup and use a lot of NI effects (I'll leave the other stuff alone ATM) and want to avoid product vaporisation as the following forms part of a toolbox...you know, where u get to know a product so well you are often editing it to create bespoke sounds (often from scratch) from the same engines rather than preset surfing and losing identity from 'your sound' if that makes sense

Im wanting to know (if at all.possible) whether the next 5 years is safe for

Guitar rig

Replika

Reflektor

Reaktor

Transient master

Supercharger

Or where I might get an indication as well.as vst3 implementations if any

SSince we own registrations of products, it would be nice if NI actually sent notifications to users eg 12 months ahead...I don't recall being specifically notified of eol

@Jeremy_NI , the above looks as if a question for Customer Care (or Support ?).

Well, you mean Guitar Rig 7, Reaktor 6? They're still current products. Unfortunately we can't really tell about 5 years in the future. All these products are now available as vst3 plug-ins, make sure you make all the available updates.

    Thanks Jeremy

they are a couple and obviously still current...I kind of meant more the quirky fx like reflektor, replika etc

Unique pieces of kit I can no longer register ie older fx like spectral delay (which is so unique) vokator etc…absynth

Also critical, absolute masterpieces like Kore...that one hurts the most...irreplaceable

II reference stuff like my korg collection stuff which is unchanged other than 64 bit update since 2005, solid and reliable

II realise u can't do everything but just giving customers a minimal licensing path so the time and personal 'sound' and pallet for those that use gear for art vs product. Like a 57 strat...its made perfect by its use.

    CCheers

I understand your concerns, unfortunately there is no guarantee I could give you about the future: new operating system software updates, new technology, new plug-in formats, plus the costs of maintaining all of that.
