Kontakt won't open instruments and I get "demo time out" error message

Hi, I have Ableton Live 11 suite (11.3.35), I bought Komplete 11 ultimate a while back. I tried opening a session in Ableton live and a lot of my instruments won't load and I get the error message "demo time out" with an Activate button below it. I click on the activate button but it does't do anything.

Something else that I noticed is that in my list of plugins in Native access, most plugins are highlighted as "installed" but the plugins that I seem to have a problem with (Battery for example) are highlighted as "open" (see screenshot attached)

Can someone tell me how to fix this pls?

best regards,

Colin

    Hello,

the "open" button is just for opening the instrument in stand alone mode. Can you try to open kontakt stand alone and open studio drummer there?

Hi Uwe, I tried to open Kontakt's studio drummer in stand alone but there is no options to to this.

When I click on studio drummer, it doesn't allow me to open it in stand alone (see screenshot).

What I noticed in my Ableton session is that a lot of the Kontakt 5 sounds don't load up anymore. I would like to find a way of retrieving them if possible, but I don't know how to do this and if it is possible. (maybe it is not because now the latest update version is Kontakt 8?)

You open kontakt stand alone first, then from within kontakt you load your instrument e.g. studio drummer.
