In Electric Vintage, the "muted notes" knob is backwards

In Session Guitar Electric Vintage, when the "muted notes decay" knob is set to long, it instead cuts short when releasing a note, and when the knob is set to short, it instead fully sustains. That's the inverse of what I expected.

Actually, is this intentional? The decay of the string lasts like it should when turning the knob.

About releasing the note however, setting it "short" makes it last after releasing the note, setting it "long" cuts it after releasing the note. I assume it's done to prevent long notes from sustaining for too long.
