my komplete kontrol is not working correctly!
Since I did an update, it always shows me the same message when I try to open a library.
i already uninstalled and reinstalled! i running the standalone first bu it seems to get stuck in the middle of the configuration and never opens the windows of the plug in after scanning the vst´s.
On the other hand, when im in cubase and open Komplete Kontrol, it opens the plug in, show me the avaliable libraries, but i can open any of them, always showing the same message :(
i will attach an image and a video that show the problem…
If anibody can help with this problem pleaseeee.
My keyboard is "s61 mk2".
Komplete control is very important to my sound design track that is going to the World..

Hello, please let us now:
Which version did you used before the update?
The problem might be because you used a VST2 version and you update to VST3
Also please check Komplete Kontrol Preferences —> Plugins —> Locations
to be sure that you have added all of your VST foldersIf the problem remains, please go to:
"C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol"
delete the file komplete.db3also to:
"C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Komplete Kontrol\Browser Data"
and delete the file with the same name as abovethen open Komplete Kontrol (stand alone, not VST) and do a complete re-scan

Hi ,
Could you please state computer type ? , exact OS version ? version of Native Access used ? and version of Komplete Kontrol ?
Your profile only says i7 but as far as I know then that could both mean PC and intel Mac. But if you are on Mac then ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : Howto Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Thank you for the info ,
You or someone else choose Sunborn's post as 'Correct Answer' , may we assume that your issue has been fixed ?

no my issue it not been solved but i will try Sunborn´s post ! becuase im tired of trying… isntall and reinstall, i think the problem it has to do with the problem vst 2 and vst 3 :(
but i will try the references he gave!

i think the problem it has to do with the problem vst 2 and vst 3 :(
What Sunborn might refer to is that Komplete Kontrol 2.9.6 were the Last VST2 supported version , and when updating beyond that then KK itself is only VST3 (and of course standalone) , but it should still be able to load other VST2 . Some people have reverted the upgrade to KK 3.x.x but that is usually also rather bothersome to do.
If your problem persists then you also have the option to contact N.I. Komplete Kontrol Support and ask for their help. Please refer to the page : How to get in touch with our Customer Care

I have noticed that, what many people forget to do, is to check the Plugins Locations in Komplete Kontrol Preferences and confirm that all their VST folders are there! If not, they must add them manually.
In our case here, i noticed that @INtrospective's VST folders are not the "default" NI ones, so he probably need to add them, like this:
In my example, there is only one folder the VST3 folder, because i do not use any VST2 anymore (so, there is no need to add the default VST2 folders). But it is possible to add a lot of folders there, that they are inaccessible otherwise.
(For example, if you use Magix Soundforge -an audio editor- it has the Magix VST plugins in its own folder (C:\Program Files\Magix\Sound Forge Pro\MAGIX Plugins) and not in the common VST folders.)So, please make sure that the folder mentioned in your Native Access Preferences (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Vst 64) is added in Komplete Kontrol locations!
I also recommend to exclude the Vst 32 folder, since it is a relic from the past and shouldn't existed at all on NA locations, since there are NO Native Instruments VST 32bit plugins and only few still exists from other developers… Unless of course if you are still running some old VST 32bit plugins. :-)
