Arturia plugins not loaded in browser

Just a thought but where the NKS install paths are stored on Mac is in Preferences as .plist files - maybe those are what is missing? Check if you have those, I have attached an example of what to look for (you could also try adding this to see if that makes a difference)
Path would be like /Library/Preferences/com.native-instruments.Arturia-Buchla Easel V.plist

Well , in the Libary section, under Factory, there's only one of the Arturia locations (the JUN-6 effect).
but this is a free one, not part of my installed suite. So, I tried adding them as you suggested, to the Library's User section like this.
I only added one to start with. Then, I clicked "Rescan" and restarted KK.
I could find that instrument when I toggle to User content, but 1. I don't think that is supposed to be how it works, and 2. it still is as you can see not recognized prpoperly.
I went back to preferences >Plugins and clicked Rescan.
Restarted KK. No difference.0 -
OK if the graphic isn't showing that does imply a broken install, the ASC should have installed the graphics along with the plugins and NKS content.
Try adding the plist I attached to preferences and see if the Buchla then shows

I FOUND IT !!!! 🤓🤯🍾
It was nowhere documented in the installation steps as far as I know.
Not on Native's side, but neither on Arturia's side.
The Native apps need FULL DISK ACCESS to be able to scan the System's Library folder, which can be set in the system preferences.
From a security pov it's logic because it's outside your user's environment.
But seriously, this was one of the hardest and worst documented setups I had to do. I hope NI reads this and learns from it, because as a first encounter, this didn't go down well, certainly not after seeing this kbd being praised online multiple times.0 -
OK I assumed you had done that, it is literally one of the first things support say to do. Well anyway glad it's fixed.

Hello Kymeia,
thank you, but what do you mean with 'support'?
Because I followed this guide https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/komplete/komplete-kontrol-setup/
and also this one:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/keyboards/kontrol-s49-s61-s88/get-started/
and they don't mention this.0 -
I just meant that when someone brings up a problem 'have you enabled full disk access?' is usually one of the first questions that get's asked (by NI support).
