    "But I'm not sure these guys have grasped that locking is a decision of the library authors, not a feature of Kontakt" I suspected that this was the reason but it should never have been accepted, NI did not have to do that for the first 2 decades.

    Why not keep demanding access to the groups and samples from the developers in return for buying the content and marketing it to the users? To give access was acceptable before for many years so I don't see why this all of that sudden had change.
    I've been using Kontakt since 2002. I really hope that this can eventually be corrected.
