Moving Traktor to another Computer - HELP

Hello!

I'm having a big problem transferring Traktor from a MacBook to a new MacBook.

I have transferred everything with Timemachine, everything is exactly the same as on the old MacBook.

I have followed the official instructions exactly and when I try to import the collection.nml Traktor hangs.

Even after many hours nothing happens. Always only the message ‘importing collection’. At the bottom of the window it says ‘Ready’.

The music appears correctly, but all playlists and stripes and cues have disappeared and can no longer be called up in Traktor.

The playlists in particular are very important to me.

Can anyone help me?

Kind regards

Michael

TP3 or TP4 ? I moved everything in TP4 from an old to a new MacBook and had a handful of slightly annoying issues but nothing major. I lost my remix set contents and all tracks seem to require analysis again, and stripes are missing. I did what you did and imported a collection but my collection and all playlists etc are all intact.

    Good Morning All

Perhaps my method may be of some use to you.

As for Traktor Pro 4, The same principle applies. I just deleted everything in the Traktor Pro 4 folder & copied my entire Traktor pro 3 database into the Traktro Pro 4 folder & everything is still as is is while using Traktor Pro 3. ONLY difference I noticed is that my beatgrids are not set & will have to be manually set again from scratch, but other than that, I make a backup of my database from time to time & I just delete & copy.

I do not import the collection as the collection tends to get corrupt.

Let me know. Eager to hear some results.

    Happy Testing.

    Warm Regards

    Quade
