Mobile Production Suggestions

I'm currently looking into options for a setup I can take with me to work on music when traveling. I currently use a Mac Mini to run my DAW (Studio One). I have Komplete, virtual instrument libraries etc. housed on an external drive. I used to primarily use a 2020 MacBook pro, but was having trouble running Komplete when I downloaded it, which is why I upgraded to the Mac Mini. I'm wondering if there's a way to do a scaled-back version of Komplete/Kontakt that I can use on my MacBook. If so what would be the process for doing that? Attaching a screenshot of the specs on my MacBook.

Thanks!

    What were your troubles exactly?

I was having problems loading libraries. Whenever I would click some of the bigger ones I would get the "beachballl of death" and my system would freeze up. According to NI support my clock was too slow and RAM too small. They recommended at least 2.5 GHZ and 16 GB of RAM, which is why I upgraded to a Mac Mini.

Ok, well, then my suggestion would be to uninstall anything you don't use and only to use small libraries on this mobile setup, maybe check this couple of articles:
