kontrol s49 N/Kontrol s mk3 update not working?

on my keyboard it says, LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING WENT WRONG

so i have tried and followed what the troubleshoots said and watch YouTube and up to now nothing help. when i tried to update the firemware recommented called KSMK3 UPDATER, I got the message: AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE UPDATING YOUR KONTROL S MK3 UPDATER (ERROR-2). PLEASE DISCONNECT THE KONTROL S MK3, UNPOWER IT AND QUIT THE UPDATER. THEN RECONNECT THR KONTROL S MK3, RESTART KSMK3 UPDATER AND TRY PERFORMING THE UPDATER AGAIN, UNTERNATELY CONTACT THE NI TECH SUPPORT. Nothing work; my Kontrol s49 only has the Message: LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING WENT WRONG

thats the only light that lights up with the message, the whole kontrol s49 is not lighting up or doing any thing. pls help

    It's not really clear what process you went through, but here's what's supposed to happen. When you go to the ni.de link that's where you have the opportunity to download the appropriate KSMK3 updater program for either a Mac or Windows computer. That will download a .ZIP file which you then have to un-zip to get the runnable KSMK3 updater program, which is what you run to update the keyboard firmware. All of that happens outside of any Native Instrument programs such as Native Access, Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol. So you only need to boot up the keyboard and as long as you have a viable USB connection to it the KSMK3 will do what it needs to do to get the firmware installed. Once that's done you should be able to interact with the keyboard with the current products.
