Traktor + CDJ: pitch (tempo) fader not working

Hi,

i have strange behaviour when i use Pioneer CDJs with Traktor. I tried both, CDJ-2000 Nexus 2 or the new CDJ 3000. Same behaviour on both of them:

I connect both CDJs to my Macbook, create an aggregation device (Mac) and set it as default audio device in Traktor. Both CDJs are connected via USB cable to my Macbook. Then when i adjust the tempo pitch fader, the traktor UI changes its layout. With every slide on the pitch fader the tempo doesn't change but Traktor switches through the different UI views (like when you hit . on the keyboard or select a different ui with the drop down in the top right in Traktor). That really sucks …

The only thing i figured out to fix this is to open Traktor first and then connect both CDJs via USB cable. So i have to connect them to my mac, create the aggregation device, unplug them, open Traktor, connect them again and set it up in Traktor. Then the pitch fader works like expected (tempo change).

I haven't configured anything special via MIDI mapping or so. If i don't play via CDJs i use my Traktor Control S4 MK3.

Traktor 3.11 on MacOS 14.5 with Macbook Air M2.

Thanks

@Martiniix_NI thanks for your tip! I just did a reset of the Traktor TSI settings and it seems that this resolved my issues. The CDJs behave normale line they should and I can connect and disconnect them without any errors!

    Thanks :)

    Heyo!

Seems like you have found somehow a solution, but have you tried to reset the TSI?
