When can we expect an update firmware for the A25 keyboard so all buttons can be used in all DAW's? I only can use a few buttons so until I will not consider to buy a larger keyboard.

    Hello,

I think it's not a firmware issue it's an issue of the DAW integration I guess for your DAW there is no specific one so you use the mackie protocol? What DAW do you use?

Thanks for your reply. I use Cakewalk by Bandlab as my DAW. I tried the mackie protocol but it didn't work also.

what did not work exactly, had you set it up correctly (daw port in and out set for a mackie device)

    Thank you for the reply.

I cannot ad the A25 keyboard to the output port. It is not available and stays 'None'. do you know how this comes?

    Best regards

Can you check under the midi devices tab if both DAW ports are there, maybe something went wrong and the bomes midi driver native uses, is not installed correctly. If you are a windows user check under device manager if a bomes device is there, I had once that problem with my a49 and I installed the bomes midi driver from here: https://www.bome.com/products/bmidi

I have not yet installed Bome, but maybe the above is the problem.

Ohh and it can also be the case, that you have another program open in background using those midi devices so cakewalk can´t use them, that´s why you get this window

Strange? There is no other Midi device connected to my pc. Can it be something else?

no it means that a program is using the other midi devices as far as i understand it, please also ask in the cakewalk forum it could be an issue on cakewalks side
