Halving the beat grid

Hello

Is it possible to retain BPM and halve the beat grid?I have a track that i made in 5/8 time and it is 320 BPM.Setting the Bpm to 160 works, however it is skipping downbeats due to the beat grid being too large. BPM above 300 seems to not be supported.

    Heyo!

I have tried this myself but I believe its not possible, the limit of BPM from Traktor, as you said, makes it hard.

Maybe someone could have a different perspective or a workaround.

Oh no,that is disappointing.Hopefully someone else might be able to suggest a workaround.

I'm new to DJ software but it strikes me how centered around 4/4 they all are.Its obvious why they would be set up this way but i don't understand why counts of say 5 beat loops or 7 beats or 9 beats etc. aren't an option, since presumably the software is already capable of doing this,it just is not available as an option.

What would a 320 BPM track file sound like in terms of the drums or melody? That's really interesting concept.
