I've hear from buyers that there comes software with it and for the maschine to work you need to link it to your account. Nobody's want to buy it and I really don't know anything about these advanced machines. It is a Maschine Studio Black

I imagine that if you contact Native Instruments and give them some information (your father's name, his email address and the serial number of the Maschine Studio) they could transfer the registration to your account, or the account of anyone that purchased it from you.

However, the unit will work without requiring that process, if the buyer already has the software, buys the software, or wants to use it with different software.
