Hmm… I’m on the latest Alpha version (for Windows), but Maschine’ UI doesn’t update as shown above. Will re-install the VST again and see if that makes a difference…

Just make sure it is the VST3 you have installed as that is what @Kymeia made the template with. ;)

Ok. I got the presets to update in Xenia's UI, the VST was fine, but I had to update my Maschine 2 software to the latest version.

I have found that Xenia doesn't perform quite as well in KK as it does in a standalone state for me. At times, a sound will bug out after playing for a while and change pitch suddenly or something else weird maybe. It is almost like a random CC message is being sent or some sort of conflict is happening, but why I am unsure. I am hoping it is something a future update will fix this as the Micro Q was a bit buggy possibly too. That said, the access Virus C at least appears to be solid.

I wonder how it will fair in comparison to Microwave 1 that Waldorf released.

The Waldorf M1 sounds great. Completely different architecture, but they compliment each other well in terms of sound palette. The emu still sits in its own league though and is probably more faithful a recreation from a purely technological standpoint. That said, how they have coded the M1 plugin is equally clever and the sound is very convincing. I have never gelled with the Waldorf line in the past, maybe something to do with the UI choices or rather harsh ringy sound of Nave for example, but this is smooth as silk and warm as you like. Exited to see what evolves from this new era of emulation.

So, do we only currently have a template for the OsTIrus? I think a good few of the previews may exist in the Osirus presets, as some presets are used in both. Wasn't sure if anybody had approached this one yet.

I made the RAM Bank A so far, but its a slow process… too many banks and I'm boring… 😋

Also, same names among Osirus and OsTIrus presets, doesn't necessarily means same sounds too…

Yes indeed, though most of them are named the same specifically for that reason. Whether they are updated TI versions/variations of the same sound, or whether they sound any different is a different matter however. For instance the DX and Mark One pianos are the same. They may not be back compatible i.e TI to Virus C, but are clearly based on the same preset. I notice very little difference if any. They may be of use anyway.

I have an automated way of saving out the presets quickly, however, the list I am using does not appear to be the same (at least in checking Bank A of VI2). Here is the list I am using below. the first mismatch is rom I have shows 014 Chaos AV, the list below shows it to be 014 Chitin HS (always consider 000-127 vs 001-128).

I would be willing to create presets based on the full controller map and audio previews. Tagging with these names is too much work for me to take on.

Please let me know if these four banks I will post work for you. Thank for the template. I don't know what everyone wants. There are 25 x TI2 Banks (3200 presets), 19 x TI Banks (2432 presets), 8 x Snow Banks (1024 presets) and 256 presets in the two ram banks A and B. Does anyone know if there are many dupes? Are the TI2 banks all that people want?

Thanks. These work fine for me on initial testing Mac OS. Tagging is a task indeed. I think there are already categories in the TI, though as you say it may be difficult to group these when saving especially if in an automated way. Either way though I would be more than happy with the banks as is. If they are separated into banks at least, then tagging may be easy a little easier later down the line.

If anyone can find a list of presets that match the roms, that would be helpful. It doesn't matter how the list is presented at all, I found ChatGPT is excellent at stripping numbers, spaces, reformatting and alphabetizing. It even can find the rom list, but they are no better than the list I have found.
