How do I connect a second laptop to S4MK3

Hello. I have tried connecting my secondary laptop from the headphone jack to a line in channel on s4mk3, but I do not get any sound from my DJ speakers, so maybe I have a bad 3.5mm to rca splitter cord. However, if I do not have a bad cord which features on the controller and in preferences do I need to change/ setup? I tried input to channels c and d which are set at live input and selected line ext on the controller. It does not appear in preferences that my laptop is actually connected because this is what I see in preferences for input routing.

    Mhh, it says disabled. That is weird.

    Can you make sure you are running the ASIO driver? In the settings under "Audio Setup" where you choose device.
