Playbox - Hiss and crackle

Hi, I'm having an issue with Playbox where there is a constant background 'bad vinyl' hiss and crackle when playing (using S88 Mk3 and playing through Komplete Kontrol). It doesn't seem to be an issue with any other instrument (but haven't tried everything) and I assume it's not supposed to be there because it isn't present on the previews but is present when playing every preset.

I've tried all the usual things, and some less usual - try different USB ports, disconnect ethernet, optimise power settings, switching ASIO drivers, increasing buffers etc. Nothing has worked.

Is this a known issue, or any suggestions on how to fix this?

It happens in pretty much every scenario - playing directly through Komplete or Kontact, or recording and playing back in a DAW.

Playbox has FXs and "Lofi" is one of them. Could it be that?

Sorry, should mention - this is on Windows 11, Intel i9-14900 with 64GB RAM and the libraries stored on a Samsung 990 SSD. Audio Interface is a Fractal Axe FX3.

Dang! Thanks for the quick response. Yep, that seems to be it. I was thrown in that every preset I tried had the crackle, but the crackle wasn't present in the preview.

Back to the manual... Thanks again!
