Why does the loop I load into a kit slow down from the preview sample that plays in browser?

So I'm very new to Maschine and learning as I go. I found a shaker loop that I like (Shaker [122] Alecia) and I'm trying to add it to my track. Few questions:

1. I'm assuming the number in brackets [122] is BPM, is that correct?
2. The preview that plays sounds like 122bpm, but when I load it into the kit it slows down to a much lower bpm that doesn't fit the track. How do I fix this?
3. Is there an easy way to add a loop to a track? For example, instead of recording myself "playing" the loop, can I just automatically add it to the track somehow?

Not sure if this helps but just want to clarify- the BPM of the song is 122, and the loop os also 122. When I load it, even in the sampler it tells me the loop is 122 bpm, but it does not sound like it does when it plays in the preview (it sounds much slower than 122bpm when loaded).
